Banganpalli Mangoes are the most famous that are grown in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana region along the Eastern Coast line and the adjoining interior regions of India. Banganapalli is also know as the Pride of Andhra Pradesh. The mango is supposed to have originated in a village in Andhra Pradesh by the same name. Our Banganpalli mangoes typically come from the slopes of Kadapa region in Andhra Pradesh- the weather and the soil impart a flavor that sets this fruit apart from Banganpalli that grows in other regions. This fruit has a delicate skin which has big pores. As the fruit ripens, sugar oozes out of the pores, giving it a typical black dotted appearance on a clear yellow skin. The delicate skin of the Kadapa Banganpalli is also consumed along with the fruit by many people. Skin of this special Bangapalli is also consumed by many folks as it is very flavorful.
- The fruit is shipped in its original packing received from India. It will be shipped fresh within a few days after it arrives. Basic inspection is performed on the fruit to ensure integrity of the box- other than that the fruit is shipped “As-is”.
